15 nights / 16 days Day 1: Arrival at Johannesburg International transfer by Mini-Bus to spacious B & B close to Pretoria. Then refresh yourself before a light lunch and a 3 hrs. Pretoria City Tour. Dinner at your choice in northern Johannesburg. |

Day 2 - 4: After a good breakfast transfer by Mini-Bus to the southern Kruger National Park via Witbank, Nelspruit and Malelane to our rest camp in the Park. The first game drive is in the late afternoon tracking down game and bird life in this 20 000 square kilometer wildlife paradise. Sundowner in the camp. Early morning and afternoon Game drives, midday siesta at camp. One Game walk, (Night drive optional), 3 nights in Kruger NP. incl. Breakfast Day 5: Depart Kruger National Park for Hoedspruit. A stopover for one night at a Citrus Plantation close to Hoedspruit. Farmstyle Dinner at a charming B & B. onenight, incl. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Drinks extra Day 6: After Breakfast depart for Johannesburg with one stopover at Blyde River Canyon, dropping off at JHB International Airport around 16.00 for connecting flight to Cape Town. After a 2 hrs. flight and a 30 min. drive checking into a B & B in Cape Town. Later a light Dinner at Victoria Alfred Waterfront. Day 7-10: You will be taken on an orientation tour of Cape Town. This will include Table Mountain (weather permitting) the Company Gardens, the Malay Quarters as well as the Natural History Museum. A walk along the city main boulevard, and a chance to visit the market is also included. We visit Cape Point, this tour will also include Cape of Good Hope, the botanical gardens at Kirstenbosch. Also on the agenda is the penguin colony at Simons Town, for lunch. Evening is reserved for your leisure. This will be a Cape Town township tour, and a visit to the District Six Museum. You will be given an insight by people from previously disadvantaged communities as to life in the days of apartheid, this is an informative day where you will see how the majority of the citizens of Cape Town live. Ending the day with sundowners at Blouberg Beach. Dinner at a traditionall restaurant.Three overnights in CPT B & B. Day 11: Today we will visit the Winelands, this incorporates a visit to a wine estate for a cellar tour as well as two wine tastings at other wine estates. This tour takes in magnificent scenery as well as a chance to see and feel the atmosphere of two of South Africa's more beautiful towns, Stellenbosch and Franchhoek. Overnight is spent in the Winelands. Dinner at a Cape wine estate. Day 12: After a unhurried breakfast the morning is for your leisurein the Winelands. We depart for Worcester, where we visit the open air Museum which looks into the lives of the Country's pioneers, a great first stop on the tour, a brief stop in Matjiesfontein with a visit to it's museum is followed by a lunch in the small village of Prince Albert. We then travel through the Natural wonder of Meringspoort, a gorge through the Swartberg Mountains with spectacular rock formations and onto Oudtshoorn. On the way we visit the small town of De Rust where we will stop at one of the Local wine farms for tasting. We end the day with a trip to an Ostrich Farm. Overnight at Oudtshoorn. Day 13: After breakfast we visit the Cango Caves regarded as one of South Africa's foremost natural wonders, a virtual underground wonderland. Today we encounter the Garden Route for the first time, a short journey over the Outeniqua pass, we arrive in George, for a Steam train ride " the Outeniqua Choo-Choo ", the trip takes you through part of the most beautiful sights the Garden Route has to offer. Destination Kynsna the jewel of the Garden Route, on arrival you will be met by your guide, here you will have a chance to experience this vibrant town first hand. An evening Sundowner Cruise on the lagoon, supper at the Hotel. Overnight at Kynsna. Day 14: Today we explore Plettenberg Bay, further included will be a walk in the Robberg Peninsular, an absorbing experience, at truly one of the more beautiful places in the garden route. A visit to the Monkey Land primate sanctuary and time to indulge on with of the regions prime attractions, it's wonderful beaches. Overnightat Plettenberg Bay. Day 15: We move towards the Tsitsikamma National Park ( "Khoisan for Place of Running Water ") traversing through magnificent scenic river valley passes. Stretching over 160 Km of wild and rocky coastline characterised by massive cliffs, we will have time to visit and absorb this famous National Park. Our next stop is Storms River with it's Impressive Paul Sauer Bridge, across the valley towering some 139 metres above the river. The final part of our Journey takes us to Port Elizabeth, here you will be taken on a city tour. Overnight in Port Elizabeth. Day 16: Morning at leisure, transfer to PE Airport and flight via Johannesburg back to Europe etc. |
